Tonight after dinner, I wandered around Pickerel Lake Park. The park, also know as the Pickerel Lake Nature Preserve or the Fred Meijer Nature Preserve, is located in central Kent County just past Townsend Park (another Kent County Park) on Ramsdell Drive. This picturesque park provides ample viewing of birds and wildlife from the boardwalk and trails that wind throughout the park. These pictures were all taken from the 1.9 mile long trail that circles the lake. If you haven’t been there, you should really check it out.
