Today the Vedders Family journeyed to Hoffmaster State Park located on the eastern shores of Lake Michigan between Muskegon and Grand Haven Michigan. After checking out the exhibits at the visitor center, we hiked our way to the dune climb. We climbed the very tall and steep staircase to view the giant lake below us. Next we climbed back down the stairs and headed for the beach. There was a yellow flag warning and the waters were still quite cold so we mainly played in the sand. All in all, we had a fun trip.
